Hotel Lobby

Scenic Artist, Modelmaker (3rd year)

For our current module I had the chance to work with the TV students in the National Film School, Dun Laoghaire. For this project we we're tasked to create a set for 4 different short episodes, all being set in a Hotel Lobby. A group of about 10 of us created the set in a 3 week timeframe.

Art Department: 3rd year DFF

My main involvement in this project was being a key person in the scenic art department, stripping and painting flats, painting woodgrain, and working off of the plans of the production designers.

I created a fake card machine out of what used to be a wooden childrens toy, using paint and UV resin to create the raised parts of the buttons and screen.
